Ferrari electronic is a leading German manufacturer of hardware and software for unified communications. The OfficeMaster range of products enhances all popular e-mail and application systems with functions for fax, SMS and voicemail. The hardware seamlessly connects a company's telecommunications infrastructure with the existing information technology. The complete range of hardware products is also qualified as “Enhanced Media Gateway” for Microsoft Lync Server 2010. Additionally Ferrari electronic provides a certified Survivable Branch Appliance for Lync Server. Customers benefit from greater efficiency and streamlined business processes.

Research, development and support from Ferrari electronic AG are entirely located at the company headquarters in Teltow near Berlin. As a pioneer in computer-based fax since 1989, Ferrari remains market and technology leader in this area to this day. Today, more than 20,000 companies with 2.5 million users operate unified communications products from Ferrari electronic. The customer base consists of organizations from all sectors and of all sizes. Among the most prominent include AIDA Cruises, Air Berlin, Allianz Suisse, Griesson – de Beukelaer, Messe Munich, Vienna City Hall, Techniker Krankenkasse, TU Chemnitz.

OfficeMaster: Hardware and software from Ferrari electronic

The software suite "OfficeMaster" allows companies to integrate fax, SMS and voicemail into their existing IT architecture. OfficeMaster automates business processes, for example by faxing order confirmations and invoices directly from ERP systems to the addressee – without any intermediate steps. The solution also bridges the media discontinuity for end users: For instance, they receive voice messages directly in their e-mail account and can send faxes directly from the program in which they create the document.

For these applications and also for unified communications products from other manufacturers, Ferrari electronic produces the ideal hardware controllers and gateways. The complete range of hardware products is also qualified as “Enhanced Media Gateway” for Microsoft Lync Server 2010. Additionally Ferrari electronic provides a certified Survivable Branch Appliance for Lync Server. As hardware and software come from a single source, they function together perfectly and are easy to implement.

Ferrari electronic seamlessly integrates its solutions into the products from other manufacturers. From the end user's perspective, OfficeMaster is embedded into the familiar user interface as a feature enhancement. Additional UC functions appear directly in the applications where the user needs them. The administrator provides access to these functions centrally. The OfficeMaster system is managed through the core applications used by administrators such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync, Lotus Domino, or SAP.

Service and Support

In cooperation with its distribution partners, Ferrari electronic provides all-round support in the implementation and operation of its products. Ferrari electronic develops and produces its software and hardware entirely in-house, so ensuring that the company can respond quickly to customer needs and provide rapid support. In case of special requirements, Ferrari electronic can develop customized user functions or additional modules for integration into customer IT environments. Most customers operate Ferrari electronic products for many years. In most cases, the only maintenance ever required is the management of user data.

Partnerships

To help with the development of integrated products, Ferrari electronic maintains partnerships with many important manufacturers in the field of unified communications. The company is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, IBM Business Partner, SAP Software Solution Partner and it maintains strategic partnerships with Cisco Systems and Alcatel-Lucent.

Ferrari electronic markets its products indirectly through distributors. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland there are about 75 qualified value-added resellers, referred to as the "Ferrari electronic Competence Centers". Specialist resellers can also source OfficeMaster solutions from the distributors Allnet, Astco, Ingram Micro, Komsa Systems and Unicorn Systems.
