How about sending fax documents directly from SharePoint and, moreover, automatically allocating incoming fax messages to your projects (lists and libraries)?

In cooperation with our partner "TEAM for solutions", we have developed a module for Microsoft SharePoint which allows you to process incoming and outgoing fax messages with OfficeMaster 3.1 Fax messages – text or documents – can be sent directly from lists in SharePoint to the respective addressees. You can select single or multiple documents for transmission. This multiple selection is a highlight of the integration, as it exceeds the standards of SharePoint lists.

The processing of incoming documents and their allocation to projects rounds off the fax communications for SharePoint. This also allows transmission and receipt acknowledgements to be added to the projects, so covering the entire workflow.

The fax function is realized by an installation in the SharePoint farm, where the feature is activated at the Web-site collection level. Existing lists in the Web-site collection can also use the fax function after activation. Existing infrastructures can be upgraded with the OfficeMaster fax function, as well as complete installations of new SharePoint environments from scratch. The OfficeMaster Web Services are used as an interface to the OfficeMaster software (as of version 3.1).
