Digitalization is changing the way we communicate.
According to industry experts, data exchange in the energy sector still has potential for improvement both within market communication and in end customer communication. Customers need to be reached, but not all of them are technically capable of communicating online only. How can processes be mapped more quickly, e.g. when a customer changes energy supplier? Automated processes and data formats help to make the exchange of documents more efficient.

NGDX in the energy sector
- Transfer of all inactive PDF content, e.g. color, metadata
- No transmission of potentially harmful, active content such as hyperlinks or applications
- End-to-end transmission of all documents
- Confirmation of receipt of the complete and unaltered contents
- High transmission speed
- Integration ePost
- Downward compatibility with the fax server
Get the most out of using the OfficeMaster Suite
Energy suppliers have to deal with a very heterogeneous customer base, but need to communicate with all of them at the same secure and fast level. Portals have made their entrance, and consumers can quickly enter their consumption in their customer account and are also informed about contract news, etc. But how do you reach those who are not online without a great deal of administrative effort?
For such cases, the OfficeMaster Suite contains an interface to Deutsche Post's ePost. You transmit the customer letters digitally to ePost, where the letters are prepared for dispatch: printed, enveloped and franked. This makes your processes leaner and more efficient and reduces the workload on your staff.
When a customer changes the energy provider, for example, NGDX handles the exchange of customer information with the new contractual partner in a legally and GDPR-compliant manner. Sensitive personal data is transferred in a tamper-proof way. The documents received can be processed immediately in downstream systems. If you receive documents via a fax server, OCR takes effect and the important data can be read out. Digitization always has many facets, the main thing is to use them smartly.

NGDX: Double encryption
NGDX combines two methods in what is known as hybrid encryption: Asymmetric and symmetric encryption. The asymmetric key pair consists of a secret (private) key and a non-secret (public) key. It is also known as the public key encryption method. The second encryption method used is symmetric encryption, in which only one key is used.

Working instead of archiving.
With NGDX, you can increase your working speed and migrate your communication processes to the digital world with little effort. Instead of sending important documents by post and filing them manually as before, these documents can now be quickly and easily transferred digitally and archived automatically. The streamlined process reduces potential sources of error and optimizes the paperless workflow.
