Legally compliant and unchanged

Do you want to ensure that your business-critical documents are transmitted in the original?

Sending by e-mail is not an option because the transport route is not secure enough? Then use the standard Next Generation Document Exchange (NGDX FAQ): You can use it to send documents in a legally compliant and unaltered form. The transport route of the document is also secure and accurate with NGDX: for example, your document is only sent when the other side is ready. After sending, you receive a transmission confirmation.

NGDX in the pharmaceutical sector

Whenever the transfer of data in the pharmaceutical industry is involved, security and discretion are also important. To avoid harm to individuals and companies, information must fall into the right hands and only be transparent to those who have a legitimate interest.

This can also be seen in the case of a pharmacist who comes across an irregularity when checking his order: Instead of seeing a medicine in equal proportions in the 32mg/12.5 mg dosage and in the 32mg/25mg dosage in the boxes, he only finds twice the quantity of the 32mg/12.5 mg dosage. He had ordered this differently and had also received feedback. After checking the order processes several times, he realizes that there is no error. Up to this point, everything has been in accordance with the regulated procedures. To clarify the error, he calls the wholesaler. But the order quantities have also been received correctly there. However, a look at the wholesaler's warehouse shows that the blister packs supplied by the manufacturer are all labeled with the dosage 32 mg/12.5 mg.

The wholesaler immediately contacts the manufacturer, suspecting a labeling error on the pack. And he is right: the blister packs are incorrectly labeled. The affected medicines must be immediately withdrawn from sale. The manufacturer calls on pharmacists to inform customers about the error. At the same time, it begins a nationwide recall of the preparations. NGDX proves to be the right tool for this process in particular - data is machine- and human-readable, securely stored redundantly and can only be viewed by those who are authorized to access it. Procedures can be carried out and completed transparently but securely.

Communicate without data loss

If you send a document from Outlook, for example, the NGDX server transmits it as a PDF that can be read and processed by people and machines. And without compressing or losing data in the process. The PDF can then be archived automatically. Now you can start further processes for processing the documents.

Automated further processing possible

You receive and edit the PDF document sent from Outlook in the system of your choice. After receiving the document, you can process it automatically. If you are not using NGDX, you will receive the document as a digital fax, which you can then read out using OCR. You can then process it further.
