With the included “Recording Finder” you can search, listen to, send, archive and delete saved recordings. Last but not least, OM CallRecording offers you important security functions such as password protection and encrypted storage of recordings.

The OM CallRecording Portfolio thus meets all the technical and legal requirements of MiFID II, the European Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, which stipulates that all telephone calls in which orders are placed by investors to buy or sell financial instruments must be recorded and archived for five years in accordance with the new information and documentation requirements. This measure serves to protect investors and is intended to improve market surveillance in order to strengthen legal certainty. 

Legal information on call recording

In Germany, telephone recording is only permitted if all parties have agreed to this. Organizations can contractually regulate their customers' consent to telephone recording. Before using a telephone recording solution, companies should always consult with lawyers, data protection officers and the works council.
