More digital sovereignty, security, and flexibility: Ferrari electronic introduces version 9 of the OfficeMaster Suite

Ferrari electronic AG, a leading provider of unified messaging solutions, is introducing version 9 of its OfficeMaster Suite. With this new version, Ferrari electronic is introducing innovative features designed to advance digital transformation and digital sovereignty initiatives across all industries. These include artificial intelligence in messaging, modern technologies such as RCS - the successor to SMS - for document reception, and, as a tech preview, a platform-independent messaging client for receiving documents and content. In addition, the new OfficeMaster Suite supports the latest operating systems, databases, and collaboration software, enabling customers to benefit from the latest security features.

Stephan Leschke, CEO of Ferrari electronic: “The new version 9 was developed with a focus on data security. Secure business communication is not achieved through individual features, but through the interaction of integrated processes. OfficeMaster Suite 9 consolidates key communication channels into a single system, thereby creating a controllable, traceable, and stable infrastructure for the exchange of business-critical information.”

Ensuring that communication is digitized in compliance with regulations such as the GDPR, NIS2, KRITIS, DORA, and others. In this context, confidentiality and protection against tampering must be top priorities when exchanging sensitive data. This is where the OfficeMaster Suite from Ferrari electronic in Berlin comes in. The messaging solution offers secure and privacy-compliant document exchange within IP networks, over traditional telephone lines, or even in the cloud. It integrates various communication channels such as Next Generation Document Exchange (NGDX), fax, voicemail, or SMS - and now RCS as well - on a single platform.

New: Support for the latest Microsoft platforms
Reliable communication requires a future-proof technical foundation. OfficeMaster Suite 9 supports the latest systems and replaces outdated technologies to ensure security, stability, and long-term investment protection.

New: Complete overhaul of voice features with AI and a browser-based user interface
A key focus in OfficeMaster Suite 9 was the redesign of the voicemail component, which now features a browser-based user interface, and the new OfficeMaster Speech AI feature. It converts voice messages into text so they can be read in written form. This is advantageous in many situations, such as in healthcare or logistics, where voice messages cannot be listened to in public spaces. To ensure maximum data sovereignty, the AI runs on the local network so that all information remains within the protected IT environment. The user’s digital sovereignty is thus guaranteed at all times. Stephan Leschke, CEO of Ferrari electronic, explains: “AI is also a useful tool for users in the messaging environment. That is why we will continue to expand AI support in updates and future versions of the OfficeMaster Suite. Speech-to-text is just the first step.”

New: Rich Communications Services are expanding their functionality to include B2C
With Version 9, Ferrari electronic is expanding the functionality of the OfficeMaster Suite to include Rich Communication Services (RCS), enabling communication with the latest Android and iOS smartphones. This provides a component for B2C communication. With this native messaging service, users can, for example, securely receive, fill out, and return PDFs sent from the OfficeMaster Suite. This is a useful option in many scenarios, such as quickly and easily filling out a questionnaire on a smartphone during a doctor’s visit or when dealing with government agencies, banks, or insurance companies.

New: Tech Preview of the Web-based, cross-platform messaging client
As part of the launch of the new Version 9, Ferrari electronic is also offering a preview of a browser-based standalone client. It was developed for organizations that do not wish to integrate the OfficeMaster Suite client into existing groupware or do not use groupware at all. The client can be used independently of standard collaboration solutions to receive documents sent via the OfficeMaster Suite. Users retain full data control and thus their digital sovereignty.

Conclusion: Greater security and autonomy
Stephan Leschke: “With the new version 9, we are better able to support companies and organizations in their digital transformation initiatives. At the same time, we are addressing current technological and political challenges: We rely on the latest technologies for IT security and offer options that enhance digital sovereignty and control over one’s own data. Ensuring security and confidentiality in digital document exchange remains our commitment, which we once again underscore with the latest version of the OfficeMaster Suite.”

Background: NGDX for tamper-proof document exchange
Document exchange in the OfficeMaster Suite is handled via the standard Next Generation Document Exchange. Documents are transmitted end-to-end and encrypted multiple times as PDFs, complete with metadata and keywords, to the recipient’s email inbox or information system. This enables seamless and automated processing in connected business process or document management systems and other applications.

Formatting and resolutions are preserved during data transfer, enabling the lossless exchange of data and content. Even large files can be transferred securely. A detailed transmission report confirms the successful transfer.
